Blood Volume Pulse (BVP) Sensor | Head

The BVP Head Sensor can be used to measure relative changes in blood flow and is placed on the Arteria Temporalis on the side of the head. It uses near infrared light technology, also known as PPG (photoplethysmography). BVP is an efficient way for non-invasive  measurement (data acquisition) of relative blood flow.

Systems

The BVP Head Sensor is available in 2 types.

NeXus: for the NeXus | 10, the NeXus | Q24 and the NeXus 4 and NeXus 32F. This sensor comes with a ODU brushed metal connector. 

Q32: for the NeXus-Q32 the BVP sensor comes with a black plastic ODU connector.
