It certainly is no news to anyone that the
World Wide Web has taken off and in the last year almost every organization
in the world has come online. Mind Media is one of the web pioneers, with
our Mindware Online Catalog one of the first ten thousand websites on the
Internet in April 1994 - five years after our first catalog.
It was only a couple of years later that we decided to become the Mind Media
Life Enhancement Network - a portal where you could find the best sites for
self-improvement and mental development and you can visit our portal. We are very selective in the
sites, which we place online there and each one is reviewed thoroughly for
it's relevance and quality before it is included. Recently, I became quite
active in reviewing submissions to our portal and also actively seeking some
of the best sites on the web.
Periodically in this newsletter, I will feature of sites worth a visit.
These sites will be chosen on the basis of offering you a variety of
different kinds of sites, which you will find useful in your journey toward
success and self-fulfillment. In this first of the series, I will include
some of the new players in the online self- improvement field as well as
some older sites. So here is the first Four Top Websites Worth a Visit
1.Ashir.com is more than a web site, it one of the
first "mindware" online application. It is a personality test using a unique
system called the Ansir Style of Relating. You take the test after
registering and are rated on 14 different personality attributes. Here is
what they Asir says about their test.
Discover your Self-truth and potential! It's free, challenging, and
enlightening! But be warned, this serious test has 2,744 possible
combinations and is ranked-by participants and Members alike-among the
toughest and most accurate on the Web. Self-honesty is key. Read Profile
Briefs first, then learn much, much more with Profiles In Depth absolutely
free!
Once you take the test, you are presented with the results and also become
part of the Asir community. It is fun, fascinating and most of all - worth a
visit.
2.If you are looking for New Age or "spiritual
information" (note: this site is no longer functional) is for you! Created by the founders of the noted

online portal. Here is how ConsciousNet describes itself: ConsciousNet is
dedicated to mind-body-spirit information which are listed to help you find

raise your consciousness or improve the world we live in. Through

good adjunct to Mind Media's portal when you are especially interested in
New Age kinds of resources. Take a look!

In putting this article and visiting and working with these sites, I was
amazed at the sophistication that online self- improvement has achieved. The
web is helping to realize my dream of turning the computer into an appliance
for personal development and professional success and I know when you visit
them you will agree. Please let me know what you think of this column and
also tell me of your favorite sites so I can include them in our portal and
